Chaotic Narcotics and Murder RP

Azrael looked bored as he, Grim, and Tyrir were sitting at the top of the tower. "I'm bored," Azrael murmured and Tyrir nodded in agreement. Grim ignored the two calmly.

Bast closed her eyes, breathing in and out and running at the tower, climbing till she was half way up and looking out over the city.

Grim sighed and took his book out. "Azrael, your baggage is coming."

Bast made her way the the top as well, or as close to the top she could get, what with three people on the tip already. "So we met again, huh?"

Azrael sighed and looked away. "It's the boring one," he muttered and started to munch on what appeared to be a dango. Grim ignored them while Tyrir titlted his head at Bast. "Hmm..."

"Stupid, he changes his mind to often," said Bast, flopping down on the thin beam like it was nothing and looking out at the sky. she noticed a red head peaking at her, and asked, "what do you want kid?"

"You seem different than before," Tyrir stated while Azrael and Grim ignored the two as if it was nothing.

"Thats . . . true, you could say," said Bast, black eyes narrowing in an aloof smirk.

Tyrir chuckled and waved his hand calmly. "Oh well, it doesn't matter."

"then why'd you ask the question?" asked Bast, tensing at him.

Tyrir smirked. "Cause I was curious."

"Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back," purred Bast, eyes flashing at him in a cold, calculating way.

Tyrir put his hands onto the beam and smiled. "True, true. But the question this time is when you die, will you be satisfied enough to come back just to die again?"

"Ah, but i won't be the one dying," said Bast, eyes narrowing into slits, backing up the beam.

Tyrir laughed. "Oh? Who will be then?" he asked, removing his hands to prop his head up with a smile.

"No one. What is it with people nowadays and death matches? You people remind me of the Roman Empire," said Bast.

Tyrir grinned. "They had a great system back then. Too bad this place isn't in the same time," Tyrir said and laughed. "It would be so much fun!" he said loudly as he hopped to his feet and held his arms out to the side. "Imagine, living life is constant fear and having to devote yourself fully to a single person! The thrill is wonderful!"

"I don;t cling to times, i just see patterns and make statements . . . and are you talking about marriage or the slavery system set up to keep inmates, the desperately poor, and prisoners of war tied to a single master and slaughter each other for public enjoyment? I've lived that life, the fighting was wonderful, but i find that fighting for your country and for yourself is better then being some spoiled brat's bitch."

"To hell with fighting for your country! Fighting's all about saving your own skin! War breeds war, and nothing will change that! To live you must fight only for yourself! Nothing else will do! Don't weigh yourself down with others! Fight for yourself and nobody else! So tell me, Bast," Tyrir paused to grin widely, "will you fight for yourself or some stupid country?"

"Fighting is about strength and prowess, about protecting the things that matter to you, even if only yourself matters, or your friends or country, it doesn't matter, every being has their own reasons and ideologies of what 'fighting' and 'war' is, what its about, what it breeds." said Bast, smirking at him and looking more like a sly devil then a cat in the sunset, "Mine change from time to time, at the time of the Roman Empire i was devoted to Mother Egypt, as much as my country as any other human's. But this time i'll fight for my own self pleasure!" Bast finished off evenly, astutely, and course, but with a tint of class. Tyrir didn't ruffle her feathers at all and she rather liked the debate.

Tyrir smiled. "Good." Tyrir looked out at the city and grinned widely as he glanced over at Bast. "Then you won't mind me turning this city to ash," he said before flames enveloped his hands.

"Go ahead," said Bast.

Tyrir smiled and tapped his foot against the beam. "Quick trivia question. What happens to steel when it's heated and then cooled down super quickly?"

"Um, it weakens? are you going for a simple answer here?" asked Bast, inching away from him.

Tyrir smirked and tapped his foot one last time on the beam before it cracked and broke in half. Tyrir grinned as he stood on the edge of the sturdy part of the beam while the half Bast stood on started to slope downwards. "Come on," Tyrir said while beckoning Bast.
