Chaotic Narcotics and Murder RP

Lisa continued to stay motionless as it watched Ran silently. Raven smirked slightly before he took a newspaper from the rack and started to skim over the front page.

(and now to harass you OC again...well more or less)

Ran people-watched for a while, sipping her black coffee, but often took snatches from the red head in the corner. She liked red hair - was fascinated by the copper color as a child - and often times caught herself staring at particularly bright shades of red hair. She got up and walked over to the boy, "is this yours sir?" remembering him now from the block before.

Raven perked up and looked to see the girl holding Lisa. Raven smiled politely. "Yes, it is. I've looked everywhere for it. I had almost given up!" Raven said happily as he looked at Ran with his eye.

"Well, i'm glad its been returned to its rightful owner, its such a cute thing, it shouldn't have gone to waste in the street. Especially in this filthy town," she said, not smiling, but still having a polite and warm tone of voice.

"Yes, I agree. This town is filthy." Raven looked to the doll and then back to Ran. "Tell ya what, you can keep the doll if you want. Think of it as a present," Raven said and stood up from his chair. "Now I must be off, it was very nice to meet you, Miss," he said and left the cafe with a little smile on his face.

Ran blushed and smiled at him, she wasn't used to getting presents, let alone from a stranger she'd never meet before. She quickly stomped the smile down however, and walked out of the caf'e to Whitechapel; where one of her father's shops were located. She apparently had to have a 'word' with the manager; something about not dispensing the salaries properly. She tucked the doll safely in one of her skirt pockets, so it wouldn't get ruined if blood happen to spill on it.

Raven stopped by a fountain and sighed quietly to himself. "Ah, I did it again," he muttered in realization. He sighed again and then looked around till he found a store that sold dolls similar to the remaining two on his belt. Raven entered the store and smiled to the clerk politely before going over to where the dolls were piled up. He picked out a smallish one that was roughly the same size as the other two with him. He brought it over to the clerk and tossed a couple of coins onto the desk. Raven stepped out of the store and clipped the doll onto his belt between the other two.

"Rachelle, Milly. Begin discretely," Raven said and walked off while the two dolls on his belt looked at the new one and started to work on it.

Ran sighed as she walked out of the managers office, the manager himself was quivering in the center of a heavily scorched part of the floor, looking shocked and confused. "Now sir," she said, her Chinese-British accent mingling together in the air, "you WILL give the employees the proper amount of money each week, or else i'll do more then scorch your cloths....papa's not happy."

Without a word she swept from the filthy, sweaty hot shop and walked toward the side of the railing over looking the Thames. It was a little cooler here, since the breeze from the river swept in her face. She pulled the doll back out and fiddle with it as she walked up to the place she heard the whore got cut up, ever curious as to what happened.

"Boss, Boss! We're done, we're done!" the two dolls on Raven's belt chimed out and Raven smiled before unhooking the new doll that now looked like Lisa, Rachelle, and Milly but had the same color hair as Ran. "Excellent work, you two. Now let's go to this Whitechapel," Raven said as he hooked the new doll to his belt again and set off.

Ran turned the corner to where the third lady's body had been found; nothing but an outlining of where the body was and partially washed off blood stains spreading toward Ran's feet, four feet away. She could seemingly smell the evil in the air, and no one else was around; to her displeasure. She would even welcome the prostitute's company....but no one was there in that allyway, with the sun's baking heat all around.

"Hmm, a pretty common place to kill someone. The question is what was she doing in this alleyway?" Raven wondered as he suddenly appeared crouched down next to the outline.

Ran jumped hard when the stranger spoke suddenly, but regained her composure as she said, "selling herself, obviously, my guess is that Mr. Jack the Ripper came to her as a customer, you know? i've talked to women like her, they don't care who he is or what he looks like; all they care about is if he has money in his pockets."

She came closer to him, her doll still cupped in her hands. She groaned inwardly about these English cloths; she could never move in them like she wanted to...

"Jack the Ripper, huh?" Raven muttered while looking at the outline, refusing to examine closer for fear of getting his hands dirty. "I smelled blood here, but it seems that Jack is pretty good and cleaning up." Raven paused and looked up at Ran. "Ah, we meet again," he added with a smile.

"Ah! but what disturbs me is that he so cleanly got away with some of her organs, from my knowledge, it takes quite a while to do that, soi he must be very skilled at what he does." she said, then added, "yes, well i can't miss that red hair anywhere." She noticed he had dolls hanging from his belt, though one of them had pretty black hair cut like hers; it looked new.

Raven nodded in agreement and stood up. He crossed his arms over his chest to think. "If he's skilled, there must be medical abilities. Though it's strange to take organs unless he's a collector or..." Raven trailed off as he scratched his head. "Ah... He could just be crazy."

"I'd go with crazy Mr . . .whats you name?" she demanded, staring at him expressionlessly but still with a hint of niceness. "Also," she carried on, " a collector would just snatch up a child or a homeless person - someone nobody would notice gone - especially if it where for blackmarket trading."

"That is true. Ah, I'm Raven. Please to meet you, Miss...?" Raven asked as he extended his hand to Ran.

"Ran Sazuki," she said, putting her small hand in his, but shaking it firmly. She didn't smile, not once.

"Ran, huh? Cute name," Raven said and politely kissed the back of Ran's hand. He smiled softly and let her hand go. "Then I pray we meet again," he said before kicking off the wall and flipping onto the roof above. Raven waved down to Ran before disappearing.

Ran blushed as he kissed her hand -something no man that kept her company did, so she wasn't used to such an informal gesture- then stared blankly as he jumped onto the roof. "Well he was . . " she muttered walking away, not noticing it getting darker as she made her way home for the day.

She changed lazily into a breezy yukata (a oriental design from japan, which she made herself with embellishments) and made her way outside again, where most of the occupants where used to her weird dress by now and didnt stop her as she made her way to an old grassy lot. She sighed a snoozed in the little field in this dingy city.

Raven stood on top of a church overlooking the bulk of the town. He smirked before hoping off and plummeting down to the streets below. He slowed down and landed gracefully on the empty cobble street before he glanced around for something.

Jack stared at the passing trains as he sweated in a bench nearby, waiting for his old friend Fuu and...some other kid he had heard barking over the phone. Please oh god oh god let her help me....i'm too famine to go to prison, i'll be someones toy! he had a comical expersion of crossed horror and worry.

Raven looked around the empty town square. He sniffed the air again and found the faint smell of blood. Raven put a hand to his chin to think and followed the smell to where trains were passing by. Between the passing trains, Raven noticed Jack sitting on a bench. "Why am I not surprised?" Raven wondered quietly.

Jack noticed that lightningy smell again, and turned around to find the kid -who so rudely said 'you smell' - from this morning staring at him balefully. He frowned, not wanting to deal with him and his guests at the same time. He turned and ignored him for a bit longer. He could hear what he assumed to be Fuu's train rolling up the tunnel.

Raven watched silently and unhooked the blue haired doll, Rachelle, from his belt. He tossed her into the air and the doll was hit by the newest train that rolled in. Raven smirked slightly and walked off, leaving Rachelle against the train. Rachelle twitched and disappeared into the train.
